Dinkel, Bob

Bob Dinkel is President and COO of FedResults; a company recognized as a premier provider of IT innovation to the Federal marketplace. Mr. Dinkel was instrumental in the creation of FedResults which was formed by the merger of JB Cubed and Government Strategy Advisors in July 2007. Prior to joining FedResults, Mr. Dinkel logged almost 23 years at CA (formerly Computer Associates International Inc.) His last assignment at CA was to position a Strategic Alliances organization for their Federal division. His groups' objective was to foster relationships with partners and clients to realize maximum business value from their investment in CA technology. Additionally, he represents FedResults on a number of Technology and Civic Boards in the Community.

Mr. Dinkel joined CA in 1984 upon its acquisition of Johnson Systems. At Johnson Systems, Mr. Dinkel was the Head of Federal Product Sales based in McLean VA which became CAs Federal Sales region. While at CA, he held various senior management positions covering Product Sales, Professional Services, Corporate Administration and Strategic Alliances in a number of key business locations which included Chicago, Long Island (corporate) and Virginia.

After returning to the Federal Division as a SrVp, Mr. Dinkel focused on Services and built CAs Services unit (CASI) to a staff of 400+ with revenues exceeding $80m. Upon the creation of CA's Global Professional Services (GPS) organization, he played a key role in shaping CA's overall Services strategy leading up to Global responsibility for a staff of 2500+. During his 20+ years & multiple locations at CA Mr. Dinkel's assignments involved running CA's federal business, commercial field sales divisions, planning selective mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, opening new CA offices and managing international operations that include Canada, EMEA & Latin America.

Prior to CA, Mr. Dinkel spent over 10 years working in systems programming and product marketing for technology and software companies in upstate New York, which included both domestic and international roles.

Dedicated to giving back to the community, Mr. Dinkel is a founding partner of the American Cancer Society's Capital Barons initiative for the Washington, DC region. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Fairfax, VA chapter of the Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) organization that ensures abused and neglected children's court needs are met. In addition, Mr. Dinkel works with area K-12 schools & Universities to support the use of technology to further the academic experience of students & serves on the Board of Trustees of the Connelly School of the HC, a college preparatory school in Potomac, Maryland. In recognizing the need to be involved, Mr. Dinkel represents FedResults on the Board of Directors at Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC), has been a past board member of the Maryland Tech Council (TCM) and is an active participant on a number of committees at ITAA, IAC & the Washington, DC Economic Partnership. As an active member of the TiE-DC (former ICEO), Mr. Dinkel represented FedResults as a technical liaison responsible for building new relationships amongst members and the local technology community covering both Government and private sector concerns. Mr. Dinkel maintains a Top Secret government clearance.

Mr. Dinkel earned an associates degree in applied sciences from ECTI in Buffalo, New York and has studied advanced IT & Systems Analysis at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He resides in Northern Virginia with his wife, Kathleen, and their two daughters.
