 Moore, Mark D. John Marshall Bank
Moore joined John Marshall Bank, a rapidly growing community bank serving the Metropolitan DC marketplace, in 2008 as its Executive Vice President & Chief Lending Officer. Moore has 25 years of commercial and investment banking experience and has spent his entire career in the Metropolitan DC area. Moore’s primary focus has been on opportunities associated with emerging growth and local businesses, with special emphasis on government contractors and M&A transactions. Moore has served in numerous leadership roles during his career, including as a Principal owner of several businesses relating to investment banking and strategic consulting. Moore has gained valuable commercial banking experience while serving in a progression of lending and leadership roles at First American Bank of Virginia, George Mason Bank, United Bank, and M&T Bank. Moore has also gained valuable investment banking experience during his tenure as a Principal at The McLean Group, Longstreet Partners, and Longstreet Capital Partners. In addition to other business and civic outreach interests, Moore currently serves on the board of directors of the Small and Emerging Contractors Advisory Forum “SECAF” (also as Co-Chair of both the Annual GC Awards Gala and the “Contractor Advice Forum”), the Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce (also as its 2010-2011 Treasurer/Chairman of the Finance Committee and as a member of its Executive Committee), Leadership Fairfax, and also serves on the Advisory Board of Virginia Tech’s Pamplin College of Business Finance Department (also a Chair of the Curriculum Committee and as a member of the Executive Committee). A proud graduate of Virginia Tech and native of Pittsburgh, Moore lives in Northern Virginia with his wife and 3 children. |
